If you are running low on propane, the park has a filling station. Pets are permitted, and the campground has an off-leash dog park. The Eagle Creek Fire in the fall of 2017 caused considerable damage in the area.

The Cape Lookout State Park Day-use picnic shelter is currently without power. A new electrical line will be installed Wednesday, Feb. 22 from 8 a.m. Expect periods of construction noise in the day-use area and cabin area. During this time there may be minor traffic pattern changes to access the parking lot. Cape Meares State Scenic Viewpoint, north of Cape Lookout, features a historic lighthouse open for tours, hiking trails, picnic areas, whale watching, and the largest Sitka Spruce in Oregon.
The Bivy at Smith Rock State Park
Additional land was purchase from various owners of the beach area north of the cape and the entire Netarts Sand Spit, once owned by Louis W. Hill of St. Paul, Minnesota. The Hill property was partially a gift and partially an exchange involving lands on the spit for lands at Cascadia State Park. Lands were acquired up to 1988, including a tract of 40 acres on the south side of the cape.

At campgrounds that accept reservations, any unreserved sites are available without a reservation for one night. Grande Hot Springs RV Resort steps up the amenities, with a hot springs-fed tub , recycling, and larger campsites. Like LaPine, Sisters Creekside Campground is about thirty miles from Bend, though in the opposite direction, and provides river access in a forested setting. Though it’s a city park, the feeling is similar to many of the state parks in Oregon, with close together but somewhat separated sites and full-hookups available. It also puts you in the pole position for exploring the charming little town of Sisters, Oregon.
Ecola State Park is a beautiful Cannon Beach campground close to Cannon Beach. We have enjoyed the Ecola State Park on many occasions and highly recommend visiting. The Willamette National Forest is expansive, encompassing eight wilderness areas and seven major volcanic peaks across more than 1.6 million acres of preserved wildlands. It’s a wilderness to rival all wildernesses, with near-untouched terrain that can be explored by bike, boat, car, or foot.
Emigrant Lake , Southern Oregon RV Park and Willow Lake offer full hookups; and Howard Prairie Resort and Rogue Elk have partial hookups. Cantrall Buckley Park , along the Applegate River, is the most rustic, with dry camping only. The main campground at Bullards Beach is located 3/4 of a mile as the crow flies from the beach.
The beach is defined as open sand west of the vegetation line on the foredune. A Loop is open from mid-March through the beginning of November. Shower facility hours for registered campers vary by season, but are typically 6am-8pm during the winter season and 6am-11pm FurFling price list during the summer. If you are on a tight budget, there are places in Oregon where you will be able to park up for free if you don’t mind giving up some luxuries. Most of these spots are dotted across public land and are often run on a first-come, first-served basis.

Located in Laredo, just minutes from the Mexican border, this park has plenty of fun for the whole family on the water or land. You likely will want to throw in a line here in the waters known for its large crappie.
